Christian Based bereavement outreach center offers grief support services at no charge to adults and children who have lost a loved one
New Hope Center provides grief support services through eight week workshops, seminars and on-going support groups focused on age and loss specific programs to assist in the healing and overcome the grief after the death of losing a loved one. Our services are open to people of any faith, race, gender and age with no fee attached. The workshops are
designed to offer a grieving person the education, support and tools to being their healing process. Our programs give life and actually save lives. People who go through our grief services usually do not want to attend but when they finish the eight week workshops, they have found the support from people who have experienced the same type of loss they have shared.
Grief can be a difficult and depressing time but it does not have to be taken alone. New Hope provides the medium to express their feelings, listen to people who are going through the same pain and begin to help people find support through people who have gone through loss themselves. Many people receive support the first month of the loss but New Hope
delivers the person hope and support for many months and puts them in contact with others who can talk to them, gain insight and share situations they are handling. Some people are in such despair, such guilt, such heartache, they cannot function. New Hope brings people into their life to help them create a life for themselves again.
My husband passed away from kidney cancer and I was searching for a safe place for my daughter to be heard and not feel so alone and isolated in her grief. Children need this form of support as much as adults do and I am happy to say my daughter is thriving in the New Hope grief support program that is for Kids 3-18.
I thank God for all of the blessings and the people and support we have found with New Hope. It has been absolutely vital to our ability to push ahead.
